This may be related to incorrect or corrupt DLL files, but provided the correct exceptions are made, 4Matrix should work without any problems.
The exception rules to make are as follows:
SQL Server service
C:\Program Files (X86)\Microsoft Sql Server\Mssql10_50.Four\Mssql\Binn\Sqlservr.Exe
The part in red will depend on the version of SQL and instance (where Four refers to the name of the database)/
Mssql10_50 is 2008
Mssql12 is 2014
SQL Browser Service
C:\Program Files (X86)\Microsoft Sql Server\90\Shared\Sqlbrowser.Exe
The part in red will most likely be 90 unless using a very old version of sql server.
