KS4 2017
APS: Average Points Score of subjects that a pupil takes in 9-1 format. All weights limited to 1 and only for subjects that count in performance measures.
A8: Each pupils Attainment 8 score. Please refer to the Progress 8 topic for more information on how this is calculated.
Total Points: The total points of all subjects that a pupil takes in 9-1 format. All weights limited to 1 and only for subjects that count in performance measures.
Additional Columns
Using the Show option in the top right of the display, it is possible to add 9-1 and A*-G grade counts.
- The 9-7 column will include legacy grade A and above
- The 9-5 column will include legacy GCSE grade Bs and above
- The 9-4 column will include legacy GCSE grade C and above
- The A*-A column will include reformed GCSE grade 7 and above
- The A*-C column will include reformed GCSE grade 4 and above
- The A*-G column will include reformed GCSE grade 1 and above
Legacy (Pre-2017)

APS capped: Average Points Score of best 8 subjects, weights limited to 1 and only for subjects that count in performance measures.
Total Points: The total points of all subjects that a pupil takes. All weights limited to 1 and only for subjects that count in performance measures. This column should be ignored when working with GCSE number grades until we change the underlying currency to 9-1, instead of QCA points. The conversion is as follows: (Total points - 10) / 6

*Note that if you are using pre-2014 measures or if you are a Welsh school (Admin > School Settings) then all awards will carry their full weighting and discounting rules will not apply.
