How do I promote a series?

This is not possible to do in 4Matrix and it's not how the system is designed to be used.

Being able to monitor progress and performance is a key feature of 4Matrix. A series is a snapshot of a moment in time, the idea being that multiple series can be imported across the academic year allowing users to compare performance in Autumn against target grades or a Summer Assessment etc.

It is not possible to 'bank' grades in 4Matrix. As a cohort of pupils move from Y10 to Y11 for example, you will need to re-import any series from their Y10 assessments that you wish to show under Y11 instead or as well as. If you choose to do this, bear in mind that tools such as the Progress Graph, Series Comparison, Subject and Pupil Tracking etc. DO allow you to compare Y10 series with Y11 for the same cohort so duplicating is not really necessary.
