Known issues: 3.9.6.1

We are aware that some users are having trouble applying this update, please see https://www.4matrix.com/updatefix before logging a ticket. Other reported issues:

1) Importing into a custom field doesn't work and the data is not imported (workaround is to enter the values in relevant column in Edit Pupils)

2) If any pupils have a grade of N in the Edit Markbook, Pupil Display won't print for that pupil

 Can I import/use a custom Key Stage 2 baseline?

Solution

It is possible to import a single custom KS2 baseline grade for use with Transition Matrices, Levels of Progress by Subject and the Flight Path tool. This must be in the form of an NC Level. If you are using another type of scoring system/format, you should convert this to the NC Level scale using QCA points i.e. calculate where your grade would fall where NC level 4 is equivalent to 27 points, 5 is 33 etc.

In the import process, set your column type to Markbook Result and choose KS2 data: Custom from the qualification selection box.

It is not possible to use this custom baseline in the Progress 8 tool as by default, this measure uses official Fine Points values to determine a pupils starting point.
