What is the October Checking Exercise?

The exercise provides an opportunity for schools to check that the DfE have attributed the correct pupils and results to their school for the purpose of calculating 2024 school and college performance measures.

This was previously hosted by Forvus on a dedicated website. It is now provided as a specific service on the DfE Secure Access website. It is called Check Your Performance Measures Data (CYPMD), and can be accessed here https://onlinecollections.des.fasst.org.uk/fastform/school-checking-exercise.
