1. Developments

 Key Stage 4 Performance Measures

1. Provisional 2024 Attainment 8 Targets added. These are applied automatically to all series in the 2023/24 academic year and beyond.
2. Provisional 2024 EBacc VA Targets added. These are applied automatically to all series in the 2023/24 academic year and beyond.
3. Provisional 2024 National Transition Matrices data added (for use with key stage 4 Subject Value Added). These are applied automatically to all series in the 2023/24 academic year and beyond.
4. AC Years 2027-28 and 2028-29 added to import options.

Qualifications

1. KS4 qualification status updates for 2024, 2025 and 2026, including addition of new qualifications.
2. KS5 qualification status updates for 2024, 2025 and 2026, including addition of new qualifications.
3. KS5 new T Level subject codes added.

Ethnicities

1. Added the following ethnicities to match latest DfE data:

  • AWEL    Asian – Welsh
  • BBRI       Black – British
  • BWEL     Black – Welsh
  • ORAB    Arab
  • WNIR    White – Northern Irish

2. Fixes

GIAP Import

1. Now supports 2024/25 Year 7 data from GIAP.
2. General logic changes to improve handling of older cohorts.

Import / Series Creation (KS5)

1. Fixed an issue that would cause Year 12 series to auto select an incorrect ‘Calc Engine’ in the first step of the import.

Series Comparison (KS5)

1. Fixed an issue in the matrix view whereby non-academic qualifications would report incorrect students above and below the comparison.

Dashboard (KS5)

1. Fixed an issue on the KS5 Dashboard whereby the bars representing Males would not show on the Average Point Scores chart.

SIMS Reports

1. Fixed an error that might occur related to missing Pupil IDs.

Key Stage 5 Qualification Value Added Settings

1. The following qualifications at KS5 now use custom VA settings, instead of ‘Default’, to generate VA scores. These will be set on applying this update (if not already set) for 2024 onwards.
