Can I delete an academic year?

Yes, it is possible to delete an Academic Year. This should be completed with caution as it cannot be undone. We recommend contacting us to discuss this process before taking any action.
Deleting and Academic Year will:
- Remove all series for all year groups from the selected AC year, including results data
- Remove all pupils (and their linked data such as basedata) from that year, IF it is the only/last AC Year they are linked to
- Remove all groups from that year, IF it is the only/last AC Year they are linked to
To proceed, go to Admin > Academic Years. Select the delete icon for each AC Year to remove.
Removing all AC Years will effectively delete all data, resetting the 4Matrix Cloud database.
